Piedras Blancas Beach- San Simeon Elephant Seals

This Beach is located just outside of San Simeon along the California Coast line on hwy 1... Elephant Seals have inhabited this beach and use it for breeding grounds to nurse their young, for molting, and mating. Its a great place and they are fascinating creatures to observe... You also get a treat from the squirrels coming to visit you ...

Monterey Bay June 2009
