Piedras Blancas Beach- San Simeon Elephant Seals : This Beach is located just outside of San Simeon along the California Coast line on hwy 1... Elephant Seals have inhabited this beach and use it for breeding grounds to nurse their young, for molting, and mating. Its a great place and they are fascinating creatures to observe... You also get a treat from the squirrels coming to visit you but watch out they are very brave and have no fear of approaching right up to you and climbing up your leg!

Monterey Bay June 2009 : These are from a road trip that I just got back from June 2009... My girlfriend, friend, and I took a trip up the California coast line, made a stop in monterey bay for our first big stop of the trip, It was a beautiful place to visit and would recommend anyone to go here, the aquarium is superb and so is the wildlife along the coastline. I hope you enjoy the photos!
